The Dows Lane Library is a  place where students become effective users of ideas and information. Our goal is to promote and nurture lifelong reading habits for both reading for pleasure and reading for information.

Students in grades K-3 will receive library instruction once a week.  All students are allowed to check out 2 books from the library.

• Students may return books and choose others throughout the day, with permission from the classroom teacher.
• There are no late fees, but we may ask you to replace or pay for any lost or damaged materials.

The Birthday Book Club: The PTSA offers a birthday book club that families can donate a book, with a special label, to our library for their child's birthday. Please contact the PTSA or library for more details.
