Special Areas

Special Areas at Dows Lane

At Dows Lane, we believe in the importance of our special areas - Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, and Project Lead the Way (PLTW).

Each day, K-3 students enjoy a 45 minute special area class where they explore respective curriculums. Students attend Art, Music and Library once per week, and Physical Education two times each week. Each of these special areas are a valued part of our school program.

Each class visits PLTW (Project Lead the Way), our STEM class, once a week for 55 minutes.
